I host my World War II Database ( http://ww2db.com ) site with Dreamhost and have been generally happy. Sure they had their share of downtimes too, but their transparent operation and great customer service keeps me there.

Yeah I’ve had nothing but good experiences with Dreamhost. People say they’re unreliable but I’ve been with them for like 12 months and they’ve been great.

I am glad to hear this. My new blogTechnogumption and a couple of my other projects are hosted with Dreamhost. I am about to launch a video project too, but for that I have the websites hosted on dreamhost and the video served from a third party.
