Let me make myself clear in saying, the bible is not full of answers it was made by Humans to gain power over their fellow man. It was not wriiten by "God". So how can a peice of text from it be used to sum up the whole of the univers or for that matter the whole of a human made universe the internet.

it's just a mystry taht has not been solved till now..but who knowssss

JS, That is only a theory such as the universe is going to collapse on itself there is not enough knowledge to be able to predict what is going to happen to the universe. Another example is the Big Bang Theory (note theory). Science vs. Religion. The Big Rip is a very logical theory that could happen to the Universe, but the Universe collapsing in on itself is also a theory that scientists have wondered about.

The universe is exapnding at a very fast rate. It will exapnd like a balloon and will pop, this is known as the big rip. No particles will survive as there is nothing to survive in, how can you have a chair if you have no room, no floor, wall or ceiling?. I think that at least people know about all tthe trillions of things that the internet has and they understand it and can’t really go against that because the proof is staring thenm right in the face. But people argue about the universe because we can’t just explore anywhere we want to there, we can’t even make it out of our own solar system. there’s so many mysteries so it’s a bit different than the internet. but I agree that they are similar in that they are both so huge humans cannot comprehend it .

I think the univirse is in an inmaginary box.It consist of stars planets smaller bodies,galaxies,clusters and super clusters.What I’m thinking is that maybe (odds are small)that are universe might be in a cluster of its own.Seeing that light takes millions of years to reach us we can’t tell if or in fact that are universe is only one of lets say hundreds or thousands of other Universes.Maybe a universe grew to large and collided with another universe and trigger the creation of ours?Believe anathing you want it’s you who makes your choices but I kinda like my theory a bit so O-well.

Anyway while reading this I was thinking "well it’s a lot easier to traverse the internet than the universe" and that’s true to a certain point... Because I feel that I’ve been to a lot of the internet. I’ve seen many (some would say too many) things on my travels but when you think about it, that’s still a splinter of all the content available on the internet.

I put it to you, the internet makes conent faster than people can consume it. That’s one of the best things about it because 90% of it is junk... or junk to me (gossipy crap, s-club7 fan clubs, paedophile rings etc) anyway.

Anyone that claims they’ve experienced the whole universe or the whole internet is a liar. To do so you’d have to stop time five times a day to make time for getting all the stuff you nmissed when you were experiencing something elsewhere.

Basically, what I’m saying is: the current HCI (monitors, keyboards, mice) need to go. We need direct neural pathways from the computer to us so we can buzz through this stuff faster and I don’t have to use unfamiliar keyboards that make me typo all over your site.

I like this subject though (as you can tell by this rant) so I’ll probably blast out a follow-up on tpcs when I get home from Cambridge

One thing you haven’t considered with the universe idea is that most of the time the light we see from most of these stars are millions of years old. So chances are they don’t exist anymore.
That said more are being created as well and may well exist that the light hasn’t reached us yet.

Same with net sites, i’m sure hundreds go missing everyday and yet more pop up to replace them. So with something thats continually recycling and absolute number can never exist.
