This chart is full of it. Win98 never has and never will perform as good as Win2000, and neither has or will WinXP.

Mac OS and Linux look pretty equal, which seems about right.

Does the new intel chip set have anything to do with this? As the Mac OS comes along with these machines, even these would could towards the number of Mac OS sold even though they may have bought these systems for Windows use.

I wonder what is the number of Mac OS sold with this correction accounted for.

Percentage gains are skewed towards the OS with smaller market share. It is easier for an os with 300 users to get a 100% increase versus an os with 3000 users. Good article, overall.
