I prefer http://www.keepglobe.com over Blackle. They donate 50% of revenue to a green cause and it is hosted on a server that is powered by wind and sun energy. They also have an image search. Black search engines do not save energy as they claim and also my eyes twitch after seeing that black background.

I dont really care for Blackle it tends to hurt the eyes and they claim the black screen really conserves energy??? I dont know if I really believe all of that. I will say I have found a website that I do like. It is called www.keepglobe.com they have a pretty cool website similiar to blackle without the BLACK screen. Yes, there are several things going on with blackle, but people tend to forget that there is more need of user interactivity then the stupid blackle itself.
Now the age is of VIDEOS users are not going to shift from google to blackle just like that. There is a site named http://www.yaarii.com that gives the option to search videos as well as as the regular web search. I think I would bookmark this site , because it gives the option to see any video in the same page without moving your ass!
