bidding

Welcome to adbidding, the latest way to value text-links. You bid for the link and pay for it with Paypal - simple! Read all about it here.

What is adbidding?

Everywhere on the Internet is trying to work out the value of a text-link by using your Alexa score, Pagerank, RSS subscribers and any number of other metrics and I don't think that's any good at all. YOU are the best judge of what the value of a text-link is, so adbidding allows you to bid for the link!

what you're bidding for

How does it work then?

Step 1: Okay, in the form (above) you'll see some fields you need to enter. Enter a bid, your email address, what you want the link to say and where you want it to go. Once you've done that, submit for form and we're onto step two.

Step 2: You will be given an "authentication number" which you'll need to confirm your advert (it gets emailed to you too, but it's quicker to just make a note of it). You'll then be whisked away to Paypal to make your payment.

Step 3: Once you've made your payment, you'll be brought back here to enter your email address and the authentication number you wrote down earlier. Once you've done both correctly your ad is on the site.

Terms and Conditions

1. Links aren't guaranteed to be on the site for a pre-agreed period of time. They are purely there until someone places a bid higher than the current one and makes payment. Your advert could be there for a year, it could also only be there for 60 seconds. There is no time guarantee.

2. No modifications can be made to the link once it has been published. If you need to make an adjustment you need to email me at steven.york@seopher.com. There are no guarantees that I will be able to make the amend either.

3. Payment is taken before you enter your authorisation code. This means that if you go through the Paypal payment procedure and are unable to confirm your advert (by entering your authorisation code and Email address) then you've paid money for nothing. You'll need to contact me at steven.york@seopher.com to resolve this. Your authorisation code is sent to the email address you provided so you shouldn't have any problems.
