UniverseToday - the best podcasts for geeks

I've been listening to the UniverseToday podcasts for around a month and they are the single most educational, thoughtful and down right entertaining ones I believe I've ever heard.

What it is
They're podcasts where two scientists discuss chosen topics, such as "where does the moon come from" and "black hole questions answered". What you get is a thought provoking discussion where questions raised by readers of the site are answered. Through this I've learned some amazing things that I'd just never contemplated before.

Geekiness to the max
Obviously it's not as low brow as the Ricky Gervais podcast that the world loves but it's perfect for those of us with more than a slight interest in astronomy and the universe that surrounds us. I've never studied astronomy nor have I ever had a telescope but I've always enjoyed gazing at the sky and pondering the masses that lie beyond.

The podcast isn't terribly techie, they explain everything in normal language that those with a small interest in the subject can understand.

Conclusion
The UniverseToday podcasts are informative, weekly and astonishingly interesting so I suggest that if you're mildly scientific, to broaden your horizons and listen. The "black hole questions answered" podcast from 2 days ago is an excellent listen.
