Text-Link-Ads' appalling customer service

I attempted to register with Text Link Ads recently but was rejected, unfortunately. I wasn't overly bothered about joining but was interested in how they would evaluate the site / what value they would apply to it - but I was turned down. Never mind, but then I got thinking and talking.

Why was Seopher.com rejected?
I understand they don't wish to let in any old site but I at least felt this site would meet the requirements. This site pulls in around 30,000 visitors a month, serving around 130,000 pages a month... Not bad statistics I feel. I have around 80 RSS subscribers (not great I appreciate) and ranked 29,000 on Technorati. Nothing overwhelming but ok.

I got thinking
Why was the site rejected? I wasn't sure and wished to find out. So the obvious action was to contact TLA and enquire what element of the site needed improvement for my application to be accepted. A sensible request, no? Seeing as I continue to help the site grow and push new boundaries it's feedback like this that is most crucial.

I got a response
Hello, we re-check sites every other month and you will receive an email as soon as yours is approved, thx!

Thanks!
Useful feedback TLA, nice way to offer help and assistance. I wonder if all their customer service is this impressive? Ultimately I was asking what element of the site needed improvement so that I could join and generate more income for them but they felt no need to elaborate. Well, I'm not impressed. At all. I despise lacklustre customer service such as this, standardised responses to a logistically simple question really rubs me the wrong way, so I'll endeavour to avoid TLA for the future. If they're not going to treat my request seriously then they can forget it. The advertising network is a competitive market and I feel service this good deserves zero business.

Not sure if you have looked for any alternatives, there are plenty, but I highly recommend www.linkworth.com for text link selling/buying. They have quite a few products that help me make money on my blog and they’re not on any sort of high horse with who is accepted and who isn’t.
That happened to me too but i think they depend on your page rank

im not sure

they emailed me back after a month
