Seopher.com gets updated

Yes, a weekend off work and a spot of illness has forced me to sit in the office and develop/fix elements in the website sporadically between frustrating bouts of Football Manager. So, what has changed?

Captcha
The biggest change is the introduction of a captcha system into the article commenting - to stop the increasingly common spamming that has been taking place. So, sorry if it's confused or scared you, but I've implemented a very small, lightweight Captcha system to stop the spam!

Homepage layout
The blog is gone, voting has been improved and there's feeds from other sites present. Nothing world changing but aesthetic tweaks all the same.

Articles
The articles page now has Javascript enabled slidey-goodness, to help tidy the list. It still needs love but it's much better than it was.

What is coming in the future?
Well, I'm going to plug in some user account-ness. No, no logins or anything but a Cookie driven system so you don't need to keep entering your name in comments, that sort of thing. Maybe some other stuff that I'm keeping under my hat too... Only time will tell.

Although one I will mention is the ability to page through the comments - some have 150 or so with only the most recent 20 shown - so this needs doing soonish!

Look out for the impending article on whether Open source Software is reducing piracy.
