PCLinuxOS 2007 looks to be a belter
What to expect
This release is ALL new (Xorg 7.1.1, Gcc 4.1.1, Kernel 2.6.18, KDE 3.5.6) and is reported as being much faster than 0.93. It's also reported as being sexily stable even in this early beta release - which is a good start.
BeautificationUnder-the-hood updates aside PCLOS seems determined to battle for the 'best looking distro' award because the screenshots look absolutely awesome (see them scattered across the article - all taken from TuxMachines.org - see above link).
Apps
It's shipping with Firefox 2, OpenOffice 2.1 and other popular pieces of software like KTorrent, GIMP, Mplayer, Amarok and more. It's basically complete upon download - which is nice. Multimedia functionality is excellent again with Flash9 also being included (apparently, although I've not confirmed this yet).

Because the beta is downloading and I intend on having a play with it tomorrow evening after work so I can deliver my own verdict and use images that aren't from another site (which I've uploaded myself because their servers seem a little sluggish today). I should have my own 'review' up either 22nd or 23rd.
