Naughty scripts: CommonSense Search - making you money online

Making money on the Internet can be a long and drawn out affair with limitied financial gain, so it's not rare to find ideas that are a little bit naughty in an attempt to earn some cash. I wrote about a cunning little startup called Blackle yesterday and today I have another.

How can you make money online? Well typically you need a good idea and some skill but if you use this CommonSense Search script then you can apparently make plenty of money...

Description
"CommonSense Search allows you to run a very profitable AdSense search engine, with your own niche keywords. AdSense ads are blended with search results, which results in very high click rate (CTR is usually over 20%!) and unprecedenced earnings. Apart from Web search results in AdSense, the script displays also Amazon, Ebay and ClickBank search results, allowing you to increase your earnings even further. If you want to start a profitable and unique website, this script is all you need!"

Yes, blending your Adsense into search results
This is one way to get banned from Adsense I suppose. Blending your Adsense directly into search results will almost certainly get you banned because you're being misleading over what users are clicking.

No wonder it results in a very high CTR because users think they're clicking on a search result and instead get your advertising.

It's clever I'll hand it that but I really think that it's dishonest and misleading (in the way it's described) and is likely to get you a sexy ban from Google. You can visit the script here.

I have seen localized search result sites being run on this script without problems for years. Possibly they earn too little for Google to bother.

My question is do you have any idea between Blackie and CommonSense Search who’ll earn more by way of CPC considering that search CPCs are much higher than content CPCs.

Obviously CommonSense is a content site but does Blackie earn higher being considered a Search Network Partner?
Wow yep, don’t go that route. You’ll get banned from AdSense for sure. Google won’t think twice about banning you either, and if they do, don’t count on getting back in for a long time. I’d avoid this one like the plague.
