How to write a RSS generator in PHP and MySQL

There's a new tutorial written on Seopher.com, explaining how to write your own RSS feed generator in PHP from a MySQL database. It comes with an example/quick start download and explains all you need to get started. Within 25-30mins of following the tutorial you should have a validating RSS feed generator and a FeedBurner account to get it published. Read the tutorial here.

Maybe you insert a LIMIT 6 into the mySQL-query and replace the for-loop with a while-loop, and ’mysql_result’ with ’mysql_fetch_assoc’ or ’mySQL_row’, speeding up your queries. This is useful when your database has lots of tokens, which hopefully is the case in a rss-feed :-)

Thank you for that cool tool anyway!!
