Google buys Youtube

1.something billion dollars - Google certainly is splashing the cash around, how best to deal with the competition than smother them with your wallet? Now Google has the entire online video distribution network at it's fingertips for use, possibly for evil but more likely for a continued spiral towards world domination.

They have a city block office in Manhatten, they're pioneering technology, they're one of the most desirable companies to work for in the world - they're obvious doing something right, nay, everything.

Is there a bubble to pop? Or will they climb and climb to the heady heights of Microsoft world domination? Only time will tell it seems but until then there's nothing that I would put past Google currently - who will fall next to the might of the world's friendliest company? With any luck they'll want to buy Seopher.com for $150,000,000, but that would take more stupidity than luck and I'm not sure that's viable.
