Getting to know me: the man behind the site
Who am I?
I'm a 22 year old web developer living near Cambridge in the UK with my girlfriend of 3+ years. I work through the week at a new media agency and I try to find time for the site inbetween. I've been running the site since April 2006 however I only really started doing it seriously from October onwards.
I honestly find blogging hard work
If I'm entirely honest I find running Seopher.com very difficult to do because of the commitment it takes. I'm always reading places like Problogger and JohnChow.com and there's never any mention of blogging being hard but I can hold my hand up and say it's not easy. The commitment it takes to write on a regular basis and try and make the content engaging, informative and worth bookmarking is very high indeed. I work full time as a web developer so I need to fit the design, development, maintenance, correspondance and writing into the couple of hours I have each evening. Blogging shouldn't be a chore and yet sometimes it does feel like it.
Moving forwards makes it less difficult
While there's an increased pressure when there are more readers, it offers more incentives because more people comment, more money is generated and therefore it's more rewarding. It may be difficult to make time for blogging but when I get the occasional comment saying how much my content has helped them with something, or offered inspiration - it makes it all worthwhile.
Where I'm trying to take it
I'm not a rich man but I am an opinionated one and I would love to be able to run this site full time and spend time on some other projects I have in mind. I'd love 3-4 other blogs to spread my wings into other topics that don't fall under this one but unless I'm blogging full time I simply don't have time.
I'd need the site to be generating a LOT more money before I could even consider doing it full time and it's more likely that I'll grow wings than be able to do something I love full time.
So please, don't forget to comment and click my sponsored links
It's really hard to find the time and energy to write after a long day at work so please leave me comments, help generate revenue and subscribe to the RSS feed. ALSO! Don't forget to enter the competition for $150!

Thanks for the note - glad you find the content useful.
I am also aware of the Adsense terms and conditions - thanks for the warning though. I was however drawing attention to my sponsored listings (on the right hand side) but I appreciate how this could be misleading.
Just a warning to you: you can get kicked out of Adsense for lines like "So please, don’t forget to comment and click my sponsored links". Bad stuff.
