Feedburner won't allow you to import subscribers

I've hit a wall. Ages ago I ran a competition offering a cash price for people to subscribe to my newsletter; while it didn't work brilliantly I got 60 subscribers. I've recently discovered the joy of RSS updates by Email, yet Feedburner won't let me roll the two together.

For the newsletter I was using a system called Zookoda: a company who take your RSS feed and send out a newsletter containing the latest content from your site. They offer decent scheduling and reporting options, as well as the normal double-opt-in subscription. So I had 60 subscribers but I later decided that I'd prefer to integrate all my RSS stuff into one place - Feedburner.

I've had my RSS feed managed through Feedburner since day 1; I'm happy with the service they provide and I'm happy with the statistical reporting. However, I have 60 subscribed users (who have incidentily whittled down to 50 active subs) who have opted into Email updates but are no longer getting them - so my mission was clear. Port my Zookoda subscribers over into my Feedburner list - easy.

Although, not easy at all
Feedburner don't have an option for you to add email addresses to your list manually; in times gone by you needed to email their engineers to get the job done. Since Google took over they no longer do this at all (for fear of spam, amongst other factors) which means I now have 450-480 RSS subscribers and 6-7 Email subscribers held at Feedburner while there are 50 users who have opted-in to a service that I'm no longer providing.

So all I ask is Feedburner, please see sense and allow us to import email addresses into our subscribers list - even if I have to talk to an engineer. My subs are confirmed through Zookoda so it's entirely legit, I just want to be able to import them. I know I'm not alone in this...

I’d like to move Zookoda subscribers to move over to Feedburner too. I thought of using FeedBlitz but living in the Google world seems better (Blogger, Google Analytics, etc). Let’s hope that we’ll soon be able to import subscribers as implied with http://forums.feedburner.com/viewtopic.php?t=16220

FeedBlitz DOES allow subscriber import, is available independently or via the FeedBurner GUI (pick us instead of the FeedBurner system), is fully compatible with FeedBurner, as a wealth of features - incuding open and click through tracking - and also a new ad network you can join to make money from your list. It also creates IM (Skype and AIM) and Twitter versions of your newsletter automatically and for free.
