A few new features and a new direction

Over the past few days I've been working on some changes for Seopher.com and I'd just like to bring attention to a couple of them.

AJAX site searching
The rather awful site search that I had before is gone and replaced with this sexy(ish) AJAX one. Enter whatever terms you want into the box and the results will be updated live before your very eyes. I'm likely to tweak this in the future but for now it's a working implementation.

It remembers you!
When you make a comment on a piece of content it asks you complete a CAPTCHA (enter the security code). Now once you've done that a Cookie is dropped on your machine meaning that in the future you shouldn't need to enter your name or complete the security question again. That should just make life a little easier for the regulars.

New header
The header has changed to look a lot more like the old one - seeing as a lot of new users were confused by the branding on the previous version I thought it worthwhile to make things a bit more obvious. You see the wires in the background? Well that's what was IN the text on the last logo. Either way, things are a bit more translucent now to up the "sexeh" rating.

New categories
I've collated some posts from lesser-used categories and lumped them together, I've also diversified a few sections. We now have blogging and SEO categories. Financial has been renamed "make money online" because that's what the content relates to. It's really quite self explanatory.

So there we go, a few minor updates to the site to help me take it in a slightly new and more prosperous direction. If there are any problems with layout, search, archives etc please send me an email and I'll try and sort it out as soon as possible.
